Missing RAM?

Recommended Posts

I've been having minor performance issues, mainly with Normandy map, so with new update was hoping to see improvement but its now just a stutterfest dropping from 40-50FPS to 20-30FPS constantly. By all accounts performance has improved with Normandy so I started looking into CPU.GPU,RAM usage to see whats happening.

To my surprise, although I have 16gigs of RAM installed, it seems like only 8gig is working. DCS log, task manager, and system specs all show only 8gig.

Does RAM go bad or is there a way to confirm it? Should I try taking it out and reinstalling it or what?:helpsmilie:

Take it out and re-seat it back into the slot, that could help.

If not, try another slot to verify it wrks at all. if it doesnt work in any slot its dead, if it only doesnt work in that 1 slot it was in, try the other module in that slot, also slots go dead.

You have a high chance of a "Lifetime Warranty" case if it is of any of the big brands.
