1. Optimizes the Normandy Map. Performance issues are keeping people from playing the map.

2. Were are the Mulberry Harbors? Were are the flooded fields. Even if they were drained after D-day, there would be large dead zones.

3.When trees die, they should show up for France not USA. Trees should have less hitpoints.

4. Can we get tank guns to fire correct ammo. We now have Bren guns firing Mauser rounds and Browning .30cal MG firing British .303.

5. The STUG IV is useless because the AI will not turn the vehicle to bring the guns to bare.

Churches.

I have been looking around, but didn't find a single church in any village.

You sure? Haven't search for them lately buy I remember screenshots with several building models for the map and there were churches.

The IMHO most iconic church in Normandy, at least from the American perspective, is Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Sainte-Mère-Église... and it's not to be found :(

There are many landmarks which appear to be simply painted over with process generated landscape, like the infamous Omaha beach. There are so many photos out there, including pre-invasion, showing the beaches, but you'll not recognize them on the map.

Battle of Britain style dispersal huts.

Ability to have bomber mod a.i units they don’t react to threats like fighters. It’s great to have the German bomber mods but when I attack them they all break formations and climb better than an Me262.

Maybe some sort of Runway overlay that can create a grass strip to take off from?

Unrelated maybe but Quick mission builder that adds large formations of enemy aircraft. (i.e Ability to make quick ww2 missions).

I have found nothing like a church near where Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption should be.

Photo from during the war, view to the south-east direct down the Route nationale 13.

Section of map from the War Office, 2nd Edition 1943, France Cherbourg - Valongnes, Sheet 6E.

Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption is the white circle directly to the right of N13.

Approximately the same area in the ME. Saint Mere Eglise is almost not recognizable compared to what it actually looked like during the war.

You can easily create a mission on the Normandy map with an Observer slot. Start the mission, select the Observer slot, start, position map view over St. Mere Eglise, <LCtrl><F11>, try to find the church.

I took advantage of the December sale to buy the Normandy map. As I lived in Cherbourg and witnessed the 1994 anniversary celebrations of the D-Day, I couldn't not be interested in flying over a re-creation of it !

The general looks are nice, and I was pleased to overfly the famous Pointe du Hoc battleground.

However, I was quite disappointed by Cherbourg itself... The great harbour ("grande rade") is missing ! The huge exterior breakaways are a significant feature, perhaps the most significant feature as they encompass the world's second largest protected anchorage and they're definitely the most recognizable landmark when you're looking at the sea there.

I hope its only a temporary absence from the Normandy map.
