StandingCow
A bunch of us on MP were unable to fire rockets when they are placed on the outer pylons (stations 9 and 1). Seems to be a bug... 5900X - 32 GB 3600 RAM - 1080TI My Twitch Channel ~Moo
cthulhu68
Not a bug, outside pylons work as long as you have rockets on inner pylons. You aren't supposed to mix rockets and bombs or bomb combinations. You can get away with rockets on inner pylons and 2 types of bombs or 3 types of bombs on ones that take them. Azrayen
Not a bug, outside pylons work as long as you have rockets on inner pylons. More precisely, they do work as long as you haven't weapons on inner wing pylons: The only thing to correct in this case (see the VTB showing the payload) is the RK button position on the PCA, and the S/P lights under two buttons instead of one: = = = = = = = Now, there may a bug, preventing fire, as this (and this only) may (note: I'm even not sure) be supposed to work (and doesn't, we only have the INT button when the rockets are on the external pylon as shown by the VTB): But it's easy to circumvent: simply put the Magic on external pylons (plus it's more logic to have them here), and rockets on inner pylons; this way no prob. ++ Az'
KCferrari
Well, I ran into this issue myself, in a ground attack mission I threw together. I had a loadout of quad rocket launchers, alongside some Belouga bombs. Both weapon types can be selected and fired perfectly fine, however the button for the ext rockets does not appear. Only the int rockets can be fired. If mixing a/g weapons like this wasn't allowed, its a bit weird that you can fire some rockets but not all of them. Do it if you want but there is not garantie it will work. jojo
IRL you would have error message on PCA on the ground. But DCS module is waiting for weapon system upgrades, and PCA is of them. In the while, you can carry and use 2 rockets pod + 2 Magic 2 or 4 rockets pods. These are the authorized loads by the weapon system IRL, and it does work in the module. So stop trying to go around the weapon system limitations to carry more weapons. This isn't the A-10 or Su-25 :D Mirage fanatic !
