razorseal Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Hey everyone, I'm currently on 1.2.16.43180 and I was getting the update via the updater until my system crashed due to something unrelated... now when I launch DCS world, it's skipping the updates. Is there a way for me to force the updater, or do I have to uninstall EVERYTHING and reinstall??? :helpsmilie: Appreciate some help! perhaps there is a way to launch the updater manually Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ohgr Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 If that doesn't work try going into the DCS World bin file then with your mouse over and empty spot in the folder hold Lshift and right click. In the menu that opens click "Open command window here" in command window type DCS_Updater.exe then enter. That worked for me when I had issues. Web site says "2.0.1" is released, but my '2.0' still shows "2.0.0" even after purchasing the new A-10C campaign. (I don't have steam versions). Mike5560 Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 I had to do the same thing with the update: I was reading the A-10 Red flag mission cards while launching/ updating and the updater did not finish as it was attempting to delete the 3 mission cards I was reading.
