Freq CTD no warning, logs attached

All my drivers are updated, DX updated and I use a 1080Ti GFX card

CTD every night playing with no warning, its only started in the last few patches.

This solved all my problems, including bad performance on a very powerful machine.

I'm also getting this error, causing me to crash every 20-30 minutes.

Alec.. thanks for the information but it has't helped.

Seems other people are having the same issue, can we get some help from ED on this issue? I never had any CTDs like this since 2 updates ago.

My Windows 10 is up to date, I installed the newest Nvidia drivers last week (fresh install).

But what I think your telling me is the problem is not really the issue.

When you look at other players CTD in the last week, their problems are very similar. Window10 users never had a problem before and within the last 2 patches are now having CTDs with no warning.

I never had constant crashes like this since playing DCS nor any other game I play for that matter. Could it be a bad driver version? maybe but it also could be something in the last 2-3 patches that's caused this. As you know software can be a funny thing sometimes.

Hi, this is now a constant thing for me too. I don't know what to do anymore. Tried repair, tried driver fresh install, tried turning the firewall off, tried a clean up, tried every suggestion here. It either crashes to desktop or to the menu.

Me thinks it is not talking well with dcs. Anybody running this driver with no issues ?

I tried renaming that folder. I tried just deleting metashaders2 folders. No joy. Still crash like crazy. Again, either to the desktop or to the main menu.

I am also getting hangs from entering multiplayer sessions.

Could this really be a DX11 issue?

for me it looks like a problem was in the config folder ...so I let the game make a new folder and move over the controls and missions and tracks.

FWIW, I have only experienced this crash with the FA/18C module. The other modules work fine.

I did a complete uninstall and re-installed the new Nvidia 398.36 driver and within 15mins of playing DCS it CTD. I get it 2-3 times a night. I could be taking-off, flying around etc.... completely random.

Again never had a CTD crash from DCS until 2-3 updates ago.

I Did a complete fresh install of DCS 2.5, new driver install, (completely wiped the previous driver. I even went as far as a refresh install of Windows 10

Nvidia 1080ti card, SSD.. etc

With no warning it CTDs and goes to the desktop

Looking at the crash logs I see its GFX issue but I don't have this issue with any other games I play....What's going on DCS?

Hi F900EX, I did what you suggested but still got a crash after about 20 minutes.

I have now had crashes due to three different dlls:

You spoiled guys and your 20 minutes of play. Mine's been crashing around five. I wish there was some information, or acknowledgement of this issue. Seems like it's widespread. I've tried everything I could think of, and still no luck on resolving this.
