F-14 Hormuz CAP

I've been working on a simple F-14 single mission on the Hormuz map. It's pending on the user files, but I'll also upload it here. The mission profile is always the same but enemies are randomized.

Any feedback or bug reports are appreciated.

Mission time 35-50 minutes

Just getting into the F14 so will have to give this a try!

@latest beta:

We start with damaged wingman - Cats 1 and 2 are too close currently for 2 Tomcats with spread wings - so I was single ship.

Message sound is a bit too loud.

Enemies don't fire back.

No map included in the mission.

Actually after clean sweep I checked that Tacan started to work so I headed to mother and then I got RTB message.

Briefing text has wrong word "intesnfied".

I would mention ICLS instead of ILS.

The mission was developed in stable, I did not test in beta. I'll have to see if the wingman damage issue appears for me. I also kind of want to move the mission onto the Super Carrier. Originally this was a Cold start mission but I didn't like where you were placed or the fact that your wingman might start up and run ahead of you.

I made the message sound loud so that you can't miss the accompanying text box, but I can try to fix it if I went overboard.

Which enemies did you encounter? At least some will be aggressive for sure, but due to the random nature of the mission I might not have flown through every possible combination of enemies.

I expected the Mission Planner to be used as map before launching. I don't have accompanying documents for this mission since it was a pretty quickly put together one.

Unfortunately I'm good at typos so I'm not surprised by the last two points.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take a look and see if I can correct the issues.

Cold start would make wingman not take off at all in current beta :) Maybe it's good idea to wait a bit for SC and next beta update.

I realize that this is a very late reply, but I've only just now begun playing around with the SC in DCS. That said it shouldn't be too hard to revisit the mission and give it an update. I'll put it on my to do list for March.

The mission is now pending as a separate download on the user files. It will probably become available in a day or two. Along with the change of ship to the CVN-71, mission success logic was improved. It was made with DCS version 2.5.6 Stable.
