But 350kts is dive speed for p-51, it just cant reach this speed in level flight (p-51 can fly faster then 350kts but at alt above 26k not at 1000ft)
It will be hard or almost impossible for p-51 to get 320kts at 1000ft anyway
310-320knots at 100-1000ft at 2700RPM 46Hg on aerobatics server europe no problem level flight
i do it literally every day, no smoke nothing, clean plane

of course, this is indicated! i only watch my gauge

Same as in same percent or same weight...
same configuration (clean) same amount of fuel. basically spawn in plane and go. 8600lbs t/o weight i think

hah, now its clear, but you definetly didnt read what your gage is showing take time zoom in an read it.
Its MPH not KTS in p-51 same in spitfire.
i totaly belive in 320MPH you can go around 360 MPH in p-51 at SL and around 435MPH at high alt

i was doing 3000RPM 60Hg with radiators full open. i could not get faster than 320Knot. that thing has an insane amount of drag.
KTs or MPH that's still a huge difference!
