abs0lutzer0
Hi All If any one can please take some time to give their view on if it's better to buy from the dcs eshop or steam version of a product? I personally think the dcs eshop is the better option but i would like some opinions if any one would like to reply thanks in advance for any opinions... joey45
Personally I get them direct from ED. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45

33-DFTC
Support ED and buy directly from their store ; Steam take a fee for each game they sell on their platform. schroedi
Stand alone Dcs needs less resources because you don't have to run steam at the same time.

Yeah, but you'll notice when steam decides to start using all your bandwidth, even when you check no updates during gaming. Steam's software is nothing if not poorly designed and obnoxiously coded.
