Ramsay
1. Instrument Fonts, Max/Min G and Limitation Markers Would it be possible to update the cockpit instrument to have heavier fonts/stronger colours like this (only the needle looks to have right weight/thickness). As it's very hard to read the Hi/Low G markers/Limits. This is after using Photoshop auto colour/contrast to fix the image, the Min/Max markers are at -2.5 and +7.5. 2. Audible Alarms ? I found this titbit in a UK CAA Airworthiness Approval Note for a L-39ZO Load factor limits are up to +8/-4 g and a warning tone is heard in the headset when these limits are reached. Source [ame]http://publicapps.caa.co.uk/AANDocs/24967/24967000000.pdf[/ame] AFAIK I haven't exceeded the G-Limits yet so can't say if there is an audible alarm as described. Has anyone exceed the G-Limits in the DCS L-39C or L-39ZA and/or know if it has/should have an alarm or what it sounds like? GeorgeLKMT
Yes, instrument appearance is not the best, that's why I fixed this in my mod. You can take the instrument textures and use them alone if you want... Tone is there and working (AccWarningTone.wav) Edited April 1, 2016 by GeorgeLKMT ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
Ramsay
@GeorgeLKMT Thanks, your mod is an excellent example of what needs polishing texture wise for the instruments. And thanks for the name of tone - I played it in media player as it's not a tone I expect to hear in flight/combat. i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080
