So che è molto ottimistica la mia speranza ma a me piacerebbe vedere la cima del golfo e parte del Kuwait, mi piacerebbe replicare la prima guerra del golfo con A-10, F.15, F-18, AV-8 ecc...

Sono vecchio e fastidioso ma...

La prima guerra del golfo era tra Iran ed Iraq.

La seconda guerra del golfo è quella del 1990 dove la coalizione ha asfaltato l'Iraq. :P

Ma ammetto che per taluni può essere discutibile.

Ho capito, probabilmente visto che non è intervenuta l'America è passata in secondo piano nelle nomenclature delle guerre (visto che secondo i canoni occidentali una guerra non è degna di nota se non intervengono gli USA)

In addition to adding new units to DCS World, we are also busy updating some of the older units. Much of the priority is based on updating units that are operated by Iran... an important aspect of the new Persian Gulf map that is in late-development.

 

Here are a few work-in-progress of this unit that will also be playable via Combined Arms.

DCS: Persian Gulf Map Update

 

As mentioned in a previous newsletter, the Persian Gulf Map entered external testing recently and the development team has been very busy fixing bugs, improving mesh and texture quality, and optimizing the map. Like the DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range Map, the Persian Gulf Map will also use clip maps and merge satellite imagery with hand-created textures. This allows us as high degree of detail and a great ground-level rendering, while not having a massive file size footprint. Since the Nevada Map though, the technology has been further refined and improved for terrain details at mid- to long-ranges.

 

Once this map has been thoroughly tested and at a quality level we are happy with, we will soon thereafter make it available for purchase and download.

Idem, ma i prodotti in pre-purchase non godono del bonus sconto? Non me lo fa applicare quindi deduco di no... vabè fa nulla

Davvero bella, ma rimane poi sempre una micro mappa..... quasi inutile......

A mio avviso una mappa dovrebbe essere di 1000x1000 km. Purtroppo sembra che la ED punti a mappe bellissime, dettagliate ma piccole. Questa se non sbaglio dovrebbe essere 450x450 km.

Vabè addirittura inutile non direi, il Nevada è inutile ma qui almeno sta il mare...

Per la grandezza a parte FSX\Xplane e compagnia bella in nessun sim mi pare che le mappe siano gigantesche (Corea di Falcon dovrebbe essere all'incirca la stessa dimensione se non erro) forse la grandezza è limitata dagli oggetti, magari oltre un tot DCS esplode...
