Did I miss something?

DCS now allows one input for different actions?

Wags assigned JOY_BTN1 for trigger, but DCS didn't clear "first trigger" line.

Same, Wags assigned JOY_BTN15 for trigger, but DCS didn't clear "throttle button" line.

What's going on?

Only the view states work in F18 Hornet.

The other controls such as opening the gear do not work.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Do you have "GAME MODE" enabled within the settings (main menu of DCS). Sounds like problems others have been having when that setting is enabled, which doesn't really allow for much interaction with the aircraft... Should be easy to check if you are still having the problem (if BigNewy's fix didn't work for you)..

Cheers,

No, you can have multiple inputs assigned to one action. I have several as I use the steering wheel on my race sim for multiple key binds (with the 3 different 12 position switches, can well over 200 different commands at the tip of my fingers).

@Devrim: It has always been possible to bind several inputs (switches) to a command. For example I use this on the Bf-109 command "Fire Cannon/Rockets (B1)": I have bound this to...

1. The Weapon Release button on my stick

2. The Gun Trigger 2nd Stage on my stick

So I can fire the cannon alone (with Weapon Relase), for attacking heavy ground vehicles or heavy aircraft, or fire both MG-131 and MK108 together by pulling the trigger all the way, for attacking other aircraft.
