TAD Reorienting

I was watching a tutorial video on CDU stuff, and he started using the TAD and he turned the map so it was N to S. I was wondering how to do that, flying with the map at a odd angle is a bit annoying.

Make TAD SOI and press China Hat Fwd Short to switch to EXP view. This gives you a north oriented view, that is slaved to the TAD cursor instead of your aircraft.

There are 2 modes, exp1 & another press gives exp2, another press should put the tad back to default. Another wee tip is, with the tad as soi, press dms right and it keeps the same view, but puts your airplane closer to the bottom of the mfcd, so you can get more of a range ahead.
