Any ideas on the clouds from the cover picture on the DCS webpage?

Are those a preview or photoshopped?

best regards

Where exactly on the DCS webpage did you find this image? I can't seem to find it.

If this indeed is photoshopped by ED, it would be a pretty misleading (and imo, unnecessary) way of attracting potential new players.

System specs:

I am not a photography specialist. I experimented with Photoshop !.The propeller & the background harmonize with each other. Only the aliasing effect on the plane has changed here!.

I assume that the plane was copied in here..

Those clouds look amazing, I wish we could have them for DCS, as soon as possible

Wouldn't be possible ( for a modder ) to create a mod, visual only, with the clouds we have right now ?

Take a look also at the Supercarrier inside hangar pics. On some pictures, we can see the sky through the openings, and the clouds look rather... different, also...

I wonder if it's the same as here. May be real sky also.

I wish we could have different type of clouds, something like that

By the way, I own ( most of us, I guess ) many flight simulators, but the DCS world clouds, with Dynamik Weather, are the best looking, by far, imo

I think I have read that several types of clouds will come. Hopefully without rotation!.:pilotfly:

Yes, hopefully soon, and as you said, without rotation

And at higher altitudes, as well
