falcon_120
Sorry are you complaining out of curiosity of the glass transparency or about the HUD simbology being too dim? I sey this because you can increase HUD brightness, in your picture the HUD brightness is quite low.

MikeMikeJuliet
Also take into consideration that most photographs of actual HUDs have distorted colors. The human eye does not see the HUD in the same colors as a typical camera does. Most HUDs are infact very clear to the human eye. wilbur81
Hud in Beta are to clear. Do not clear more Please... Make one Option in the F/A 18 Menu for Tinted HUD or Clear HUD The HUD Is supposed to be as clear as possible. It looks like you've got your gamma slider set to max. Try 2.1 or 2.2. i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display

Manuel_108
Something looks waaay off in those screenshots. I agree with Wilbur, try a lower gamma setting.
SonofEil
Something looks waaay off in those screenshots. I agree with Wilbur, try a lower gamma setting. It's not the gamma, that's what the cockpit looks like with cockpit shadows turned off. It looks terrible. Edit: On topic, HUD clarity is a huge improvement with the last update. Really glad ED saw the light, so to speak, on this issue. Edited August 8, 2018 by SonofEil i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder... wrl11
In VR, the new clearer hud is much better. The prior one was too dark to see ground targets when labels were off. 1st vAEW
