It works somewhat differently. If I'm not mistaken for the ALR-67 RWR, the position on the HUD mirrors the threat level as on the RWR azimuth scope. The spokes displayed on Typhoon's HUD are high level priority threats only, the spoke itself points the bearing and is fixed in its length, the threat type is at the end in the "countermeasures" circle.
