jda8818
Hello to Everyone: I've recently been seeing brief (1/2 to 1 second) screen freezes that might occur every one to two minutes, sometimes more often, seemingly at random. Sort of a very low frequency stutter. Reinstalled latest version of Windows 10, DCS World, etc., without success. Problem might have been related to a Win 10 update (older version of Win 10, 1503 I think) that occurred in the last week or so. Win 10 64 bit Pro, Version 1709 now. MSI Z170A M7, i7-6700K, 32 GB DDR4 2600, New SSD, MSI GTX 1080, AZUS MG279. Latest BIOS, latest drivers, etc etc. Problem persists, and i'm running out of things to try ... Many thanks in advance for any comments or information, jda8818
Rudel_chw
Be sure to add the DCS folder onto the exception list of your antivirus, to prevent those zones from being scanned, like this: For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
jda8818
Seems to have Fixed It! I'm using Malwarebytes, but the same exclusion process produced the intended result! Can't thank you enough Rudel_chw !!! Happy Flying, jda8818
