WildBillKelsoe
but I am talking controllability around 350-400 km/h. you just nudge the stick, it zooms up. not even 2% on force applied or elevator axis.. msalama
Well, all I know is that it's SUPER sensitive even with 30 curves applied! And yet with those stick settings, I'm actually finding it 100% controllable even in tight turns. The only situation giving me grief still is IFR flight in zero visibility, because such a sensitive AC is just too damn easy to overcontrol by accident. One just needs to get used to the bird having such a sensitive elevator I think... The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of. doodenkoff
One of the first metrics I found to judge how well I was flying my L-39 was to watch a replay and pay attention to how much the nose of the aircraft yo-yo'd up and down. 'Cause it is extremely sensitive to pitch changes. Win 10 | i7 4770 @ 3.5GHz | 32GB DDR3 | 6 GB GTX1060
msalama
But isn't the 39 fully aerobatic by design too? Would explain the need for those effective control surfaces at any rate. WildBillKelsoe
I think keeping speed at 350-400 ias/tas gives the best control regime.
