The hotfix was not a regular scheduled update, so rather than wait till the next one (maybe tomorrow) they elected to go ahead and get a hotfix out with some fixes they were confident of beforehand.
Otherwise they would have just held them till next regular update.

At least that is how I perceive it.

Excellent on fixing the labals and chat apparently (still have to test myself with Ryzen CPU if it has really entirely been fixed or only improved) ! Nice! Now only Razbam to fix Harrier lock/launch RWR timeout sound! (It never stops after a SAM launch...)

There is probably a reason. You could pm Wags if you really want your question answered.

Better PM the community manager NineLine, as Wags may be way too busy managing the DCS developer team.

Internally Fixed doesnt mean it's ready to be deployed, and has not been tested fully (to make sure the fix doesnt break anything else.)

Default Quick Observations - DCS 2.5.3.21708 Update

A few quick things I noticed with today's (19-Sept-201 Update that weren't listed in the Official Update Summary

F/A-18C - Quick Start - Caucasus - Case I Recovery:

- All Ships have greatly Reduced Wakes; tougher (not as quick) to pick up the Carrier in the turn unless you slew the view

Yak-52 - Quick Start - Caucasus - Take-Off

- Previously, the YAk-52 had a very Light Nose (like almost an Aft CG), this Update seems to have corrected that - much better behaved & realistic handling
