It has a reinforced structure made of composite materials and enlarged engine inlets for Russian Saturn D-30KP-2 turbofan engines. A glass cockpit with large multi-function displays and a reworked nose section contain a powerful radar. The H-6J is one of the first high polygon model AI bombers in DCS World. Six underwing hardpoints can carry new KD-63 and KD-20 cruise missiles as well as YJ-12 supersonic anti-ship missiles. Another three hardpoints are used for ECM and datalink pods.
