Using Game Flight Mode (under Options, Gameplay)?

Read somewhere it causes, or can cause, the shaking and blackouts in the F-5E3.

- Jack of many DCS modules, master of none.

Thanks for this Knock.

 

I just bought the F5E and have started on working on cold start and take off.

Was doing great until in the air, at approx 500kts the plane starts to shimmy and the screen goes black, but its not a fade to black, it's just a sudden black screen. Thought I was having video card problems at first. :confused:

Decided to check the forums and found this thread.

Hi all,

 

the yaw issue on the f-5e has been reported.

 

Also the game mode shimmy.

If you want to solve the Issue turn YAW Damper Switch = OFF. that will solve it. Seems like it is reversed. You're experiencing some dutch roll. :) I'm flying in SIM mode....Oops didn't see the report already posted above...well, confirmed then.
