Default Just bought a Rift S over an HP Reverb

...and I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake. Hearing about all the problems with the Reverb was a big turn off.

Love my Reverb - what problems did you read about?

(also, the biggest problem with Oculus is that it's owned by faceyuck).

I get that . Facebook has always struck me as exceptionally creepy , and i have never had an account . Regardless , they know more about me than i do myself .
The fact is , every internet service you don't pay for , and doubtless many you do , as well as every internet marketplace you ever bought an item , sells ( and buys) your personal data .
That barn door is wide open , and short of an apocalypse , there is no closing it .

So i wouldn't make Oculus' Facebook association a criteria .

I did the opposite, should I be worried?

Actually with an IPD of 67 I am a bit to be honest.

No I have not.
Just confirming with OP that is a good choice, not that there is a wrong choice here.
I do have quite a lot of hours in with my Rift S, use it pretty much daily since getting in May.

It is a great choice. Neither does go wrong our be better by visual quality, especially if compared to high end VR headset like XTAL 5K.
And both are as great upgrades from Rift CV1 and alike.

The most important thing really is, that it is pleasure to fly.... Nothing else matters in specs wise.

I did the same quite some time ago and do not regret the move from the Rift S to the Reverb. Honestly, the Reverb was not a such a great plug-and-play experience as the Rift was - mainly due to performance optimizations I had to do on my system (i7-7700K and 1080Ti) to get a smooth experience - but in the end the better visual quality and clarity was worth it.
