Do you never fail to impress yourself?

Do you look REAL good in your virtual cockpit?

Do you have a naturally musky odor the girls cannot resist?

Do you get a wicked Hannibal Lector style grin on your face when blowing stuff up?

Do you scream at your microwave when making a Hot Pocket “why won't it go SOI?!?!”

Do you have a ZSU-23 RWR tone programed in your smart phone for your Mother-in-Law?

Are you a virtual pilot, is that what you do? :pilotfly:

If you answered yes to these questions, or if you could not answer them at all, you may be the pilot we are looking for! :smilewink: Many will test, but only a few will wear the wings of the virtual 51st Fighter Wing. We are a new squad to the DCS world, but we have a storied history in the flight simming community and we trace our on-line lineage all the way back to Air Warrior. We have flown the skies as JG/51, IV/JG-51, AG-51, and now the 51st Fighter Wing in games such as Warbirds, IL2, Lock-On, and DCS.

The 51st Fighter Wing is currently engaged in pre-deployment work ups learning to fly the A-10C as a team so that we can rain hate on all the evil doers in the virtual battlefield in the DCS world.

We are currently looking for virtual pilots who can take flying in a squad seriously, fly their airframes as is if they were the real thing and their life depended upon their skills and training, while at the same time maintaining a high level of fun and camaraderie with a jovial demeanor and a strutting swagger befitting a true Hollywood type Hawg Driver.

Experience is not required, only a willingness to learn and a desire to fly with the best pilots you could find on the web in a team atmosphere. We play hard and we take things seriously, but we always have fun and often end the flight night with a huge laugh, usually at our own expense. :) Come give us a look and fly with us...we just may be the solution to that miserable hole in your virtual life probie...

The 373rd vFS ''Phoenix''was formed in 2011. Based in Greece, the squadron specialises in Air to Air and Air to Ground missions, using a variety of Fighting aircrafts.

Our pilots are at most former members of other Greek squadrons with experience, mainly in Open Falcon .

Though we are a Greek speaking squadron, we use Greek language along with Nato brevities for our flights.

With DCS:A-10C being our last setup addition, we are training and flying missions nearly every day .

373vFS ''Phoenix'' Setups/Aircrafts :

- Open Falcon 4.7 [F-16B 52+ & Mirage 2000-5 ]

- DCS:A-10C [A-10C Warhog]

- DCS:Ka-50 Blackshark [Ka-50 Attack Helicopter]

Feel free to make any comments to our International Section or invite us for a flight with other v.Squadrons.

Join a U.S.-based Virtual Squadron flying DCS A-10C

bkpatch_transparent-150x150.png

The “Black Knights” are a U.S.-based virtual squadron that has been in existence for over 9 years. We’re a mature group of dedicated virtual and real-world pilots who enjoy cooperative, mission-focused combat flight simming. Our squadron's resume of flight sims include such classics as Janes F/A-18, the IL-2 series, Lock-On, Flaming Cliffs, and DCS Black Shark. The squadron is currently flying missions in DCS A-10C.

Squadron members design our own elaborate missions and campaigns in which to fly, featuring realistic depictions of historical battles as well as fictional ‘what if’ scenarios. They all share a singular focus on cooperative, squadron vs AI combat.

A by-invitation-only squadron, the “Black Knights” are looking to expand their roster and are accepting pilot candidate applications to fill a limited number of openings in the squadron.

Candidates should be willing and able to commit on a regular basis to participating once a week on Monday nights, from 20:30 – 23:30 Central Time with the squadron. Candidates will be asked to undergo a checkride with the squadron’s Training Officer to assess basic proficiency.

For more information on joining the Black Knights Squadron, please visit our website.

[Dogs of War] - Established - Professional - Fun!

http://www.dogsofwar.co

For the last 7+ years, the Dogs of War have been flying together in Falcon 4 and most recently in BMS (benchmarksims Falcon 4.32). We are now branching off into DCS, and we have dedicated members that will train YOU in the A10C and KA-50 in depth.

50% of our community are retired US Air Force pilots, Canadian Air Force Pilots, Current F16 pilot-in-training, and current real world flight instructors.

  • What do we provide you?
    • Quality, in depth training for the A10C and/or KA-50.
    • Professional flight environment without forgetting the main premise - this is a game, and we are all working professionals that come on and fly for fun!
    • Dedicated server for training and "Flight Night".
    • Dedicated TS server
    • Dedicated and mature flight crew that has extensive knowledge and willing to pass what they know on to anyone willing to listen.

The Dogs of War strongly believes in a professional flying experience, but not at the expense of fun. While we all want to perform well, sound professional, and rack up the kills, the Dogs of War is able to do every bit of that and keep the environment enjoyable.

Drink beer while flying? Oh most definitely. We have an age base starting at 20 all the way to Grey haired, wrinkly men. Alcohol is encouraged, why, because lets face it, 90% of us are winding down from the work day. Enjoy.

New pilot? No worries, we all started out in the same boat! As long as you are willing to put forth the time to be properly trained by a Dogs of War pilot, you will be COMBAT Effective in no time!

Officially since 30/06/2012, 53° Stormo Virtuale ended activities with simulators FC2 and DCS, passing IL2 ...

About twenty members, broke away from 53° and founded a new wing of the ED-based virtual simulators ...thus was born the 36 ° Stormo Virtuale ...

y9oa2.png

The 36 ° is proposed as a community, where anyone even those with limited time can participate and contribute growth of the whole flock.

The activities currently relate to FC2 and DCS A-10C ... and on these two simulators are open to participate in Coop or Force on Force ...

Unfortunately we do not have available a dedicated server, they are still a small group, expenses are too high.

The site is under construction and can be reached from this link www.36stormovirtuale.net from where you are redirected to the Forum, which is temporary!

Within the Forum there is a section devoted to contacts with other communities to maintain good relations and to organize the events ...

The leaders who were elected by the flock in a plebiscite have: Karma, Scorpion and me.

Greetings to all and see you soon in the virtual skies.

Virtual Tactical Air Group

VTAGEmblem2.png

We are very to happy to announce that the Virtual Tactical Air Group have finalized our SOPs, command structure and are now recruiting!

We are a group of virtual/real pilots from around the world that fly the Digital Combat Simulator series of aircraft. Our approach to flying in DCS is a "happy medium", where we like to keep a mix of having realism and fun in the missions we fly. Scheduled flights called "Air Tasking Orders" (ATO) can be done where the mission leader has leeway with adjusting the seriousness of the mission.

Our trainees are required to pass a set of qualifying flights, so we can help increase their knowledge of the aircraft (flying skills, avionics usage, weapons employment, aerial refueling, brevity code, etc.) under our Instructor Pilots supervision. In the meantime, the trainees are encouraged to join our flights (hosted on our dedicated servers and TS3 channel) to get familiarized with VTAG. After passing this phase, the new members will get their Pilot´s wings and the full membership.

We fully support the A-10C and KA-50 airframes and have two squadrons for them, the 47th 'Jokers' and the 402 'Wolfpack' respectively. We attempt to use the two aircraft together as much as possible. In the future, new airframe modules that release will be evaluated to make sure they're up to the standards of any current released Eagle Dynamics DCS aircraft (A-10C, KA-50, etc) and whether or not they will serve a purpose in the missions we fly.

We also fly the P-51 in a limited degree.

We're actively recruiting Ka-50 and A-10C pilots right now. We have 2 private dedicated servers on which we run different training missions. We typically fly using TARS.

If you're looking for a home with an excellent group of virtual pilots, come check out the VTAG!

If you have any questions, please PM me =)
