Yeah.....Am excited to read about NTTR! Can't hardly wait.

The Spitfire is pretty Exciting also. Although the bundle sale won't bring me much benefit. I already own all of that stuff.

I'm looking forward to a great new year with DCS!

I get that the NTTR map is on sale now and have purchased it. But for those who cannot get it now because of $$$$. Just look at it like this: If you have some bonus dollars saved up in your DCS purchase account. You can easily just use them and get it for the same price that you'll be paying now. It all works out in the same in the end.

Brilliant news!

I cant wait for NTTR also......this has been a very long time coming but it's almost here :D and it's gonna be awesome. Wonder what we will find at Groom Lake :music_whistling: .... :alien: .... :shocking:

Great news about DCS WW2 too and boy that Spitfire sure looks great.

Personally I'm fine with the price increase, where else are we going to find quality flight simulation like DCS, it's worth every penny to me anyways. It must have cost them a fortune to bring us 2.0 in development costs alone, and for a newbie they get two quality modules for free so they can get involved with no initial outlay. ED are a business at the end of the day, and to stay in business (and we ALL want that right!) they have to keep up with inflation etc.

Well done ED :worthy:

I have not see any info yet on this, but I can only assume they will be added in the same manner as the current vehicles we have, and if not initially, eventually they will be controllable like CA, but again, not official news on that right now.

This is interesting.

Please note that all DCS modules will work seamlessly in DCS World 2.0. However, when we move to DCS World 2.0, some module prices may increase. So, take advantage of these savings now.

Yeah, my rent, car insurance, electric bill all went up as well this year... I wish everything still cost the same as 1970 :D

Did the price of the TV you bought last year go up?

How can you compare TVs to software prices? Sort of silly... prices go up. The other option is ED goes the route of games like BF or CoD and releases a "new" version each year... you guys can pick though.

Prices for existing products, DO NOT typically go up!

Products that dont get updated or supported anymore, no, they typically dont.

They havent even announced what the price difference would be... not sure why the pitch forks are out already...

Every module needs treaking, updating and revisions done to move forward, its not just as simple as adding a new map and everything works like magic.

My Kindle Fire and Amazon Echo have been getting improvements and updates as long as I have owned them and they cost less now.
