Hi, I've never flown anything for the Lock On series and was curious if this module will ever be released as a stand alone version without having to install the original and then the FC3 module. I seem to recall athread about it but can't find it. I fly the A-10C mainly. Ta

You don't need LO:MAC since 1.2.7

You will be able to buy just F-15C when 1.2.8 goes live.

LockOn is no longer required for FC3.

You do need to install DCS world though (if you don't use World for your A-10C). If you already use DCS world and are up to the current version 1.27 you can just purchase FC3, and load the module into your DCS world.

(It's on sale right now too) - I just bought it myself.

Ok, fantastic, I thought that was the case but wanted it clarified. I may just wait for it to come out in 128. Thanks guys

Small correction. You can just buy FC3. I don't think I've heard about F-15 stand alone.

Either way, no LOMAC or FC1/2 required as long as DCSW isu updated to 1.2.7 or higher. If you're playing boxed A-10C, that will also install to DCSW free of charge.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

Su-25A went standalone (AFM + 6DOF)

A-10A went standalone right after it got AFM + 6DOF

F-15C was announced to be standalone (it has 6DOF and it gets AFM)

SU-27 has 6DOF and AFM in progress

Coencidence ? I think not :megalol:

Yeah I meant standalone BTW. You know to be cheaper DLC on steam.

So do we know for certain that the F-15C AFM will be available to FC3 owners? I was planning on buying the standalone F-15, but it will probably be $15-$20 when it is released, and FC3 is on sale for $20 right now. Are there any advantages to getting the standalone other than maybe saving $5?

Yes

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Well I bought FC3 today purely as I fancy flying that F-15 and prob SU-27 as well at some point - and cos it was dirt cheap. Not managed much yet though so I was wondering if there are any better tutorials kicking about rather than those 3.5gb videos that I have to install or any reading that could be done regarding these.
