Hi Everyone!

I have a problem with DCS 1.5

 

I've installed the game and when I run that i have a communicate: Program has stopped...

 

and problem with it:

My system spec:

Win7 64 bit

6GB Ram

i3 3,2 Ghz

GeForce GTS 250 1GB Ram

DirectX - 11

 

Could I may a weak computer components ?

 

I've marked the problems within your system.

Minimum requirded RAM is about 8GB for DCS 1.5.

The VideoRAM have to be minimum 2GB.

 

As well I'm sure the GTS250 doesn't provide DirectX11.

Why? The GTS250 is simply a 9800 GTX+ with some energy savings extras.

And the 9800 is definitly not in the condition to use DX11.

 

Yes, you may have DX11 installed but it isn't supported by the graphics renderer!

 

I had some first ideas after I read your error description.

Well, I don't understood the first foreign part but the DCS wasn't be able to initilize DX11....

Could you recommend me some Graphic card with 2 GB and support DX11 ?

 

I have to change my graphic card... and add ram memory

 

 

 

and what should be internet connection speed that can i play on multiplayer ?

I recommend a GTX970 with 4GB RAM. It's a good solution between price and performance. Sure an 980 or Titan is better but you have to spend much more money for it only to gain 5-10 FPS more. Even if you still have 60+ with a 970!?

 

Your decsion! But if you are waiting a bit more, when NVIDA is relaesing their next branch, propably the old series will get cheaper?

 

Or take an AMD/ATI. Mostly they are cheaper but the driver support is for my oppinion very bad.

You know that the Quadro is for prof. Applications!? Not for gaming! And indeed extrem expensive!

A Titan would be much cheaper I guess !?

 

And the most importand part, no directx support!

Ofcourse it is no consumer product.

 

If you doesnt care about money take a Titan, or better two, for SLI!

same problem

 

why i didn't receive a warning, when i downloaded and installed the 1.5 version, that i will have problems?. i used DCS world for many years without any problem, now, after download the 1.5 version, i can't use the app anymore. i am disappointed too much. so i must change my graphic card......... very bad

win764bit, in motherboard asus rampage 4 extreme,intel core I7 3930 12 core at 3200GHz,8GB ram DDR3 Corsair 667Mhz, graphic card Nvidia GTX 295 with 2GB ram. is the graphic card very old? is not dx11 compatible??

thank you for help, really apreciated. i used dcs world long time with no problem, now I must to know if I need to renew my graphic card. and what is the best compromise to change, without touch the entire configuration.

Unfortunately your gtx 295 is DirectX® 10.1 Shader Model 4.1 which is below minimum spec.

A Graphics card update compatible with directx 11 would be needed to play

Hi Guys!

 

I change my graphic card on GTX 660 and now i have 12 gb ram. Game started and work very good on nice graphic settings :)

 

I would like to ask you about DCS 2.0

 

Because my 1.5 ver is ok and now i'm learning to fly.

 

I download 2.0 version and when the game start a i have a communicate:

"Seems that you do not have any theatres installed. Please, check available on our Store"

 

In 2.0 version su25T and TF-51d doesn't work ?

 

I have installed them on module but i can't entry on training, instant action etc... all is blocked.

 

What is the problem ?

version 2.0 is for testing the NTTR terrain, you have to purchase it to use it.

 

Eventually 1.5 and 2.0 will be merged but no time line yet

I'm starting my adventure with DCS and i need some information on this :D

 

i'm wondering in one think yet... when I watch some video on youtube i see that in cockpit can be seen legs and hand on joystick. On my cockpit is only joy..

 

How can i change it ?

There is also an option in settings to show pilot body if available

What should i have an internet speed connection.?

 

I have 10 MB/s

 

and i have problem with multiplayer, when i connected to some server there is no my aircraft, I can only watch the world by mouse...

 

Is my internet too slow ?

I'm looking at control Panel - System and Security - Firewall Windows - but there i can only turn off my firewall on DCS.
