Definitely! Was an original backer as well, and put down my free choice of AC as the P-47. Hope to see it later. BUT what I'd pay big money for as a dedicated groundpounder would be the Havoc or the Widowmaker though... or the Mosquito in a pinch too it has to be said :D

Anyway, bring them on. My credit card has been standing at attention for awhile already ;)

I was a kickstarter backer when the WWII planes were mentioned, I've got the P-51, Spitfire, 109, 190, and am still waiting for the Jug and Schawlbe..

I really don't want to give these people anymore money for another product until I receive what I paid for years ago. If they are not going to build these products then they need to refund our money or give us credit for two planes of our choice.

Disgruntled Customer.... :shocking:

what I paid for years ago.

Wasn't ED you paid back then, but another developer that doesn't exist anymore. ED only stepped in when the original developer folded, and they're not responsible for any Kickstarter monies paid before their involvement.

And consider this: hadn't ED salvaged the project, you'd have lost every single penny of your initial investment without receiving anything at all. How would you've liked that?

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

  • ED Team
ED has a lot on their plates currently, promises of soooo many new aircraft. I imagine the Jug going the way of the F-4 :-( I hope I'm wrong, but they've made it clear what planes are their priority recently, and Jug isn't on the list.

No, P-47 is active again, first AI for the units pack.

As has been stated before..the challenge with the P-47 is Republic had a habit of destroying official documentation on their aircraft...so essentially the P-47 is having to almost be redeveloped from scratch with flight model testing, etc..

It's also why there's not enough info to do a proper F-105 anymore, either.
