was pretty cool i must say tho a bit short for me:D liked the mission design and weather! Simple Radio worked out nicely this time no overkill on the coms! If someone has trouble with SRS join there discord and most likely ciribob himself will help u out:

https://discord.gg/BDrufG

once set up its easy to use, cant understand why anybody wouldnt like to use it, its awesome.

i didnt mind the event taking place in caucasus but i would add the asset pack. Everybody whos an enthusiast on DCS WW 2 has Normandy plus the Assets Pack anyway and lots of people dont even run 1.5 nowadays. personally i find the zu23 a bit op against ww2 planes.

As always a big thank you to the 104th guys for the event. They're exciting!

Think we should do WW2 again for sure:

2 changes I would make - clearer day (spotting ground was VERY hard) and make the ground mission a touch simpler (like the previous rumbles - a few groups of units at an airfield)

Mostly this is because I am an average pilot (at best) :)

Thank you Iron_Mike for keeping things organised - good job dude.

Hey guys, thank you all for flying, it was an amazing event and great fun to commentate!

Thank you also for your kind feedback, we will take your points surely into consideration.

The next time we will do a WW2 event, as promised, it will be in Normandy and with WW2 Assets, so we will make something even more historic and realistic.

Great skills shown by everybody, we sure had a great time. Thank you very much!

And don't forget: next event will be Red Flag Reality with Strict Rules of Engagement again, so buckle up, everyone, it is going to be a blast!

There is one other thing I have to mention though:

PLS know what you are signing up for and only sign up if you can make it. Pls read the sign up thread and rules and requisits of the event. There is no excuse for not reading it or ultimately being surprised (for example that we use SRS). And please come prepared. We make sure everything is in place on our side, if you do participate, it is your duty to make sure everything is in place from your side as well.

Many also signed up and didn't show at all, only 3 left us a msg that they are cancelling (thank you for that). Of course more important things can arise, but not letting us know is not ok. A lot of work goes into organising these and most importantly your colleagues who signed up as well count on you, otherwise these events don't work.

One person left, because no SRS, although it was known that SRS will be used (and will be used in all events now).

Another person left, as I presume, since we asked if he'd fly A2G. He said yes, reluctantly, but still yes. We won't force anyone to do something he doesn't like. But for these missions to work we count on several roles, and if only half of ppl who signed up for Mustang's show, we have to ask the remaining ones if they would take on air to ground. Naturally the chances that this was their preference decrease with less people present. But in a way, like someone who goes GCI instead of flying, we expect some flexibility, most bring it and because of it missions can work out.

Even less ok is simply not showing up. I can personally cope with it just fine, but I do not accept how unfair it is to the rest who show and make an effort to make these missions happen - because without all of you, there is no point in organising these. These events are a true community effort. And as always, we try to make everyone's wish come true, but it isn't always possible and because many folks have been so flexible and forthcoming, we were able to have so many of these over the years. Please take that into account, we always ask ppl who are willing to step forward and never point a finger and say: you have to.

As to signing up and not showing:

We said this before, and I will take no action this time, but from now on the old rule will be valid again: if you sign up and do not show without cancelling with us (and it can be even a minute before the briefing start) or you do not come afterwards to us and explain that something super important happened that prevented you from doing so (which is totally fine, RL must come first), then we will exclude you from the subsequent event.

Last but no least, you are taking a place that in the end might turn someone away who really wanted to fly but didnt sign up because the event was full. Consider this, when signing up please, I think it is only fair to ask.

Thank you for understanding, and sorry to all who had to read this who always show and help us make these things happen. We greatly appreciate it.

S!

My apologies for SACG, we had a big problem with ptt. I had to alt tab out to fix it and by then It was too late. I'll have it sorted for the next mission.

Hey buddy, absoluetly no worries there, shite happens. However I suggest next time come to me or one of the admins on teamspeak, take a quick break from the event and we will try to figure out the issue with you, rather than forcing yourselves through 3 hours of radio silence. Mostly we felt really bad that you couldn't participate in full, so very sorry about that.

I also said this to Eso (and Napalm you should know, too): we are super forgiving on technical issues, CTDs, disconnects, teamspeak failures, or whatever: it will never lead to you being excluded (unless we really cant make it work or it jeopardizes the server stability).

If you need help with anything - any of you - before the next event pls come to us and we'll see if we can't help you.

Thanks for being there SACG, and hope to see you again!

There are two types of fighter pilots - those who have, and those who will execute a magnificent break turn towards a bug on the canopy . . . .
