But if we could only get one, I guess I'd have to go with the P-38, just because of the twin-engine, counter-rotating prop configuration. That alone makes it a more interesting plane. Their fights were at low altitude and the lacking turbocharger didn't matter that much. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of. Anyway, there was a lot more wrong with this plane besides its inability to fight at 10+ kft.
