If you're tasked with eliminating units located on or around a FARP then the Mavericks will insist on 'snapping to' the comparatively huge FARP rather than the unit you're attempting to bracket. Here's a couple of videos showing the problem (using D's and H's) Interestingly the A-10C doesn't suffer from this problem. This is a video showing successful lock-ups with Mav-D's; the FARP does not interfere. I'm guessing the A model is seeing the FARP's 'hitbox' while the C filters it out (?) The radar, electrical pole, bridge seems more charming to it if the target vehicles are close with them. The A-10C are whole different thing, after all the TGP and LSS is totally under your control.
