with the new detailed maps coming, especially the new, snowy caucassus, i think it would be great to do some extreme STOL in remote valleys, preferably on skies...

... and if she is not cool enough in that configuration, don't forget that she comes also with weapons. There also existed versions, that allowed crew to manually drop mortar rounds through special doors in the belly (last pic).

KC-135 or E-3 from this guy. We all love to think of the fast, punch-packing fighters burning holes in the sky, but we always seem to lose sight of the whole picture of the network of support that allows them to complete their mission.

Out of curiosity, since you guys want a tanker, why not something different and possibly epic? ;)

How about a KC-747 or KC-707?

Not to mention I think these would fit like a glove in the new SOH map.

Imagine doing this in DCS and having a camera view on the inside.

(Fast forward to 2:30 for drop)

Jepp, that's what I meant. Even "simple" logistics can be cool with low level or chute drops.

And the C-130 is pretty iconic and a real workhorse used in a multitude of nations.

With the option to use "versions", as in equip it as a KC-130 Tanker or even put some guns as an AC-130 Spectre, this is a very versatile and interesting plane.

Add Paratrooper drops as a complete new option in DCS and this could be awesome. :)

Lol years! People are demanding two weeks! :megalol:
Sorry, I was just realistic... If they start now to gather the necessary information and charts for the flight model, then develop a first time ever engine model with multi prop etc. it likely take a couple years, like with any other module. :dunno:

Yes, this would require some work as no 4 engine player controlled aircraft are modelled at this point. So hold off buying that second throttle for now :)
