Convergence were standardised with the jet era.
there was standard even in 1940. But personalised convergence setting was made even after war with the last piston engined plane.

One of the member of my squadron had the opportunity to talk with an old mechanics that worked on the French naval Corsair after the war. He said it was boring to do but it was common and they had to do it. But with the apparition of the first jet it was less and less common.
