FARP Mod:

This mod allows our vehicles to be used at a FARP, to provide Night time illumination, re-fuel and re-arm functionality. It is in addition to and not instead of, those vehicles that are currently available to use at a Western FARP. The mod is JSGME/OVGME compatible.

RAF Texture Pack:

This is a "skin modification only" to the excellent VPC-Airfield Equipment 0.9.0 beta mod, containing Soviet ground equipment. The pack contains numerous RAF/NATO skins, to compliment our vehicle offering. We in no way take any credit for the pack provided or content included, in the previously mentioned VPC mod. Unfortunately there is no way to switch between the RAF and Soviet skins so you will need to replace all the .dds files by copying and pasting those from the download below, into the following folder: VPCtextures.zip found in the VPC-Airfield Equipment 0.9.0 beta mod. Sorry but I am afraid it's either one or the other according to your preference/mission requirements.

Dave we would love to provide alternative skins and it is something we are working on. Unfortunately no success as yet. We can get to the point of being able to select an alternative option in game but the texture will not load. We wondered if this was in anyway linked to the EDM?? If any kind soul knows, we would appreciate your feedback. By the way all our Mods take advantage of PBR Texturing and should therefore be forward compatible (2.1/2.5). Cheers.

I've just downloaded and given a quick test in the editor. They are brilliant thanks. Two things though. There is no one driving the trucks or tug. Are they supposed to be like that? The livery for the Army land rover isn't working.

Our original intention was to make these simple ground units without crews as potentially they would only be used around the airfields and we kept them that way but did provide combined Arms compatibility if people wanted to drive them around. The SWB Landy was adapted from our earlier LWB combat version so it maintained a crewman.

The Landrover will receive skins shortly and we included the scripting to be able to do this at release. Hence seeing the option but no cammo. Cheers.

Here's two I found on google. Us Brits aren't really renowned for our elaborate camouflage patterns.

I'm not sure if it's possible and is probably a load of extra work. Are you able to raise the canvas roof a bit? There should be a slope up from the windscreen to the rear of the doors then it's flat until the rear of the vehicle.

Modern UK Military Landrovers were factory assembled with specialist IR Paints on them, so painting over that was discouraged in some arms of the services.

The images above were as delivered.

However, many did paint them anyway, and the selection of patterns was only limited by the imagination of the drivers. If you were really clever you could insert all sorts of weird messages and images into the paint job, fornicating Sea Horses was favourite with one of my guys ... and boy could he hide it well. Sadly no images.

I will take a look when i get back from Newcastle mate - visiting parents until Monday, Have my mac withme so able to do modelling in Maya but substance struggles a little on this 5 year old laptop.
