ADI not visible in total

As you can clearly see in DCS the Required hading indicator on the ADI is not visible at all, no matter from where you look on it. Which is surely not something that can be in RL.

Here are two example pics, both from same angle, and pilot`s point of view.

Real Life (see, not exactly the same as in DCS too):

What about this one:

What do you say? Would be worth of fixing it?

On the other hand, Su-27 is all fine regarding that.

Looks like the red thing beneath the IR receiver for the HMS is much bigger in game than the real one, which obscures the heading indicator. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point.

Unfortunately, you can’t slide the sim’s cockpit view sufficiently to the left to mimic the RW photos. But moving as far as you can and setting the same eye level, it’s clear that they would match closely. For example, if you imagine sliding your viewpoint to the right in the OP’s final image, that red item would cover the top of the ADI.

I just fired up the game and jumped in to the Su-33. Looks like the problem is that in-game the entire black panel that is the top 1/4 of the instrument panel is significantly further forwards than it is in reality, which leads the red light or whatever it is to obscure the top of the ADI. In reality it looks like the parts of the instrument panel are much closer together so the weapons indicators, ACU warning lights and whatever the red thing is can't obscure anything on the rest of the instrument panel.

Unfortunately, regardless of the reason, there is no way to see the top of the ADI without setting up a special snapview. And that's the rub.
