hi! these are not my skins, I only packed them. form my side i see no problem

Note 1: There is no limitation for whom ,wanna use my skins in their project :thumbup:

Dear Sadjad,

All the current skins for Iran's Mig-29A have static serial numbers (or no numbers at all) .. I'm editing a series of Missions for Iran's MiG-29A and would love to be able to put correct numbers on each plane.

Can you create an improved version of the MiG-29A skin that uses DCS' dynamic numbering, so that I can assign the serial number on the Mission Editor?

As far as I've been able to determine, these are the known serial numbers of the MiG-29 of IRIAF:

MiG-29A original IRIAF order: 3-6101 to 3-6114

MiG-29A ex IRGCAF: 3-6115 to 3-6118

MiG-29UB: 3-6301 to 3-6306

MiG-29B (ex Iraq): 3-6132, 3-6133, 3-6104

MiG-29B (ex Iraq): 3-6307

First of all i appreciate you and i am happy that you like the skins :)

About having dynamic Numbers on mig29 , i can do nothing about that ! there is no way to change the place of them and as you know the Russian version (current one) is totally different ! we should ask ED to change this at all ! i mean to let us have more options on our aircraft look.

Also that means i only enable to make new static numbers ( new skins ) ! :cry:

About Iranian Mig29 Register Numbers , as you know IRIAF starts with 3-xxxx for fighters and 5-xxxx for cargo or transporters and etc , for Mig 29 is 61XX, so result is 3-61XX and about 2 other digits , i have seen pictures showing from 10 until 32 or maybe more , like 3-6110 to 3-6132 or more !

About Iranian MIG-29UB , they are 3-6301 to (3-6306 maybe) yes as you said !

And about IRGC !!! i dont think so if they got any MIG29 series !!! as i know they only had SU-25 and now only SU-17 (SU-22) and Some AH-1J Cobra Helices LOL but and some transporters like IL-76 and AN-74/72s , yes IRGC starts with 15-XXXX not 3-xxx

The information I got says that on 1990, eleven MiG-29A were purchased by Iran from the USSR for IRGCAF use.

The delivery of the 11 MiG-29A for the IRGCAF started in late 1991, but only four were received, the supply of the other seven stopped due to the dissolution of the USSR. This force never saw IRGCAF service, the four jets instead entered IRIAF service, along with their pilots and ground crews, serving with the 11th TFS.

Now, i am working on 3-6115 , 3-6117 , 3-6118 and some other registers !

This is Improving Iranian fleet skins for DCS !

Months ago, I observed a need to improve the existing DCS Iranian Fleet skins.I have taken on the project to paint all Iranian inventory, included in DCS, with 100% accuracy to make them appear authentic and more realistic.

 

Special thanks to

my dear friend DCS name: Gizmondo .He supplied f-14a template & AH1-W(J). :thumbup:

 

Some of the previous Iranian skins submitted by other DCS contributors have many mistakes, or are totally inaccurate. :D :music_whistling:

How on earth to i install the f-14 skin! Ive tried everything but i still get the us Navy skin for the PG map.

You've to save it on /saved games/dcs/liveries/f-14a/

and probably you also have to use an F-14 with country "iran"

On the directory there was no f-14a map. But i Made one myself. Allready tried that and dont work. Also i cant find the Iran map anywhere

Here is the directory on my machine:

you can see I have 4 liveries stored there. Now, on the Mission Editor, the liveries do show up ... note that the "Country" field is set to "Iran":

... and running the mission it looks like this:

Take note that this is ED's F-14, a very old model ... and it shows ... Heatblur's F-14 should be much, much better :D

No, the skin avaialble on downloads, ink on first page of this thread.

In the description.lua delete all lines entered as true.

Is it possible for someone to make an Iranian MiG-29S skin? I know it's fictional but it's *close enough* and it would be nice to fly out the more capable version of the Fulcrum in multiplayer.
