Hanno corretto i maverick!

Su questo sono stati velocissimi.

C'è da dire che hanno avuto un report molto dettagliato dalla community su quale fosse il problema (e cioè che i maverick lanciati dalle postazioni laterali degli attacchi a 3 avevano una parabola orizzontale invece che verticale, poiché "non capivano" di essere attaccati ruotati di 90° rispetto a quelli centrali e così sbagliando traiettoria capitava che mancassero il bersaglio).

• Engine seizure after some time with low oil pressure or mishandling in that condition. Improved pilot liveries for default skin.

• Altimeter indication freeze if pitot tube and static ports are blocked.
  
• Changed name: Gunsight lamps failure.

DCS: F-16C Update

As mentioned in our yearly wrap up, one of our biggest projects for this year is the legendary F-16C Fighting Falcon, also called the Viper. In parallel with the Hornet, we already have a sub-team working on the Viper that includes programmers who have completed their Hornet tasks. Much of their focus is currently on the flight model, Flight Control System (FLCS), cockpit and the external model. Using much of what we learned with the Hornet, progress has been good, and is in no way slowing down Hornet completion.

As we pour the concrete, we can start to pass along some of our plans. Please remember they are plans, not timeline promises.

Our Viper will be an F-16C with the Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP) upgrade. We feel this to be the most versatile version of the F-16 with capabilities for SEAD, precision attack, close air support, anti-ship, and of course air-to-air. We will be taking great care though to develop a very accurate simulation of the F-16C Block 50 operated by the United States Air Force and Air National Guard circa 2007.

Core systems of our F-16C include:

• F-110-GE-129 turbofan engine

This will be a massive project, so we will separate it into two phases: Phase 1 Early Access release and then Phase 2 Product Sustainment.

DCS: C-101 AvioJet by AvioDev Now on Steam

DCS: C-101 Aviojet will include both the C-101EB and C-101CC models. The C-101EB model is the primary jet trainer and aerobatic display aircraft of the Spanish Air Force, whilst the C-101CC model, with its 7 hard-points and uprated engine, is a versatile light attack aircraft that has seen combat with the Honduras Air Force against drug traffickers. It is also in service with the Jordanian and Chilean air forces. The two models of the C-101 have many similarities that include cockpit layout, core-systems operation, and aerodynamic design. This commonality brings something for everyone to include lead-in jet training, advanced aerobatics, and light attack.

Features of DCS: C-101 include:

C-101EB and C-101CC:

• Realistic flight model that represents the actual performance and flight mechanics of the aircraft at a professional level and with absolute accuracy
  
• Highly detailed, six-degrees-of-freedom, clickable cockpit
  
• Complete and accurate aircraft systems implementation (electrical, fuel, hydraulic, pressurization, oxygen, radio, navigation)
  
• Complete circuit breaker simulation with correct failed systems behaviors

Bona son stato in bagno un bel pò appena letta la newsletter, non vedo l'ora di ritornare nel mio ufficio preferito, nulla da togliere all'hornet ma la salsedine non fa per me! :)

Concordo, anche se volente o nolente ci ho a che fare con l' Harrier non sono amante della salsedine se non altro perchè abito in mezzo alle montagne e con il mare ho poco in comune, inoltre l'F-16 è il secondo velivolo "italiano" che avremo in DCS anche se come per l'Harrier non della versione corretta ma va bene lo stesso e già solo per questo secondo me merita un'occhio di riguardo, per quanto mi riguarda è uno dei miei acquisti sicuri, gli altri sono il 190 A-8 e la mappa della Siria, il resto se lo possono anche tenere..:)

Concordo anche qui, ci stanno già lavorando e probabilmente da tempo quindi pensare che esca per Natale è più che lecito, può darsi che slitti ai primi mesi del 2020 se qualcosa va storto ma pensare che esca nel 2021 è molto improbabile per non dire una certezza anche perchè attingeranno dall' Hornet quanto possibile, insomma non è che devono partire da zero...

Bhè Falco ovviamente scherzo, ne sono entusiasta dell'hornet, come lo sarò del 14 e che dopo vent'anni e più con Falcon l'F-16 a pari merito con l'F-14 è il mio aereo preferito.

Ovviamente ognuno di noi ha le proprie idee e l'aeroplano, o più di uno, preferito su questo non ci piove, per quanto mi riguarda ho comprato l'Hornet e certamente non me ne pento perchè l'aeroplano è sicuramente una macchina di prim'ordine ma diciamo che non è esattamente corrispondente alla mia idea di aeroplano preferito così come non lo è il Tomcat che peraltro non acquisterò.

Con l' F-16 invece, oltre al discorso che ha portato realmente le nostre insegne, ce n'è un'altro molto personale nel senso che con questa macchina ho incominciato la mia attività di sim pilota in multiplayer nel 1999 e lo vedo come un ritorno alle origini, insomma sono legato al Viper anche affettivamente e per me è già una più che buona ragione per comprarlo a prescindere dal discorso della complessità della macchina che non è proprio quello che prediligo essendo più orientato verso aeroplani diciamo più umani di epoche antecedenti..

Per vedere finito il Viper ci vorrà molto meno tempo che l' Hornet.

+1, il mio aereo preferito in assoluto nella realtà è da sempre l'F-15C ma in DCS c'è FC3 oggi e MAC domani quindi ahimé il modulo completo non lo vedrò mai.

Mi accontenterò dell'E, che - per quanto con il fratello cacciatore abbia poco a che spartire - non ho dubbi che sarà comunque un bellissimo accontentarsi.

Tra quelli che sono o saranno disponibili in DCS, quindi, il 16 è sicuramente il mio preferito.

E giù di quotone anche qui, vale esattamente lo stesso per me (io ho iniziato molto più tardi, ma il primo amore non si scorda mai).

Mi unisco al coro: no, assolutamente no.

Anzi, mi manca e non poco.

Per quanto mi riguarda il mio battesimo del volo simulato è avvenuto con F/A-18 Interceptor per Amiga 500. Da li in poi li ho presi e provati praticamente tutti.

Se acquisterò DCS F-16C? Certamente, ma non perchè sia il mio modulo preferito. Io acquisto a prescindere tutti i moduli a mano a mono che vengono resi disponibili. Quelli che mi piacciono li uso chiaramente spesso, mentre quelli che non digerisco finiscono nell'hangar virtuale di DCS e pazienza. Sono un tipo a cui piace provare in prima persona e poi giudicare se un modulo piace oppure no, non mi limito a leggere le recessioni o a guardare i numerosi video su Youtube ecc.
