GrapeFruiT
delete the water.fx from the mod before installing the mod itself. run a repair, delete that file, reinstall. Im going to try that out, will report later. Is there any information, about for an upcoming release for the stable DCS 2.5.6.49798 version? Because the latest one (is for the beta DCS 2.5.6.49314 Open Beta - 19.05.2020), which is compatible and working, but there i have the cloud freeze, reflections bug (last post on page 196) And the stable version is not the same. DCS 2.5.6.49798 - 28.05.2020 Stable: DCS 2.5.6.49798 - 28.05.2020 Betastate VR Shader mod: (working one, with bug - DCS 2.5.6.49314 Open Beta - 19.05.2020) Vr Shader Mod: DCS World 2.5.6.50321 = not working with Stable DCS 2.5.6.49798: Will result in a crash while starting the sim. speed-of-heat
no i suspect there is not going to be a new one until the current OB rolls to Stable, you can try using the clear water version (for stable in my sig) that might fix your issue SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat

Also a lot of thanks for the VR shader mod. You did a great work, and it improves so much performance in DCS, hope ED does honor your work, and hopefully they include the things officially to DCS for the VR pilots. I downloaded the files, from your sig, repaired my DCS, did delete all meta-shaders, fxo shaders, and terrain files, like in this video I will report later, will try both out, the one with clear water and the one without. Hopefully, this will solve the problem. Good flight

speed-of-heat
The uninstall instructions are in the readme tax or similar, but you should always use something like ovgme or jgsme to install mods for this reason. Another way is to repair your dcs installation, that will clean all mods, in the game DIR, but, will leave mods in the saved game DIR untouched. if you need a version that passes the Integrity Check see my link below, they will pass the IC but the perf improvement will be less. bruno.spoon
Any get the IC failure with the latest version of DCS? I'm getting : "Can't find deferred/ResolveDepth.fx"error with the latest Shader Mod (2.5.6.50321)even after doing the whole delete cache/metashader/fxo (although not required as per instructions on the readme file) so I reverted back to 2.5.6.49314. CaptYosi
Does the MSAA mask really work? Hi Speed-of-Heat: I have updated to the latest Beta version and installed the Mod Shader modification in the clear water version. I have kept so far the 2.5.6 May version, in which the Mod Shaders still allow to adjust the size of the MSAA mask. But I see that for the current OB version it requires a Mod version that no longer allows for adjusting the MSAA mask size. The Kegetys version also does not include this option because he says that ED has included it as an option, but apparently it does not work or does not work as efficiently as in the MOD. Now if I put MSAAx2 in the Caucasus like I had before I don't get the smooth flying at treetop level anymore. To get the smoothness back I have to disable MSAA completely and it doesn't look as good?! Kegetys / Speed-of-heat: Would it be possible to add this option to the Mod again? karpiyon
Hi, I download the VR Shaders from the original DCS forum and recreated. I placed the extracted "bazer" folder under: c:\Users\<userName>\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\ Tried also under the game/mod/ folder but it made no differenrce. I do not see the round masked corners on the pc screen. why?
Quekel
Better download speed-of-heat version of the mod. Once downloaded you have to put the bazar folder in the DCS World installation folder and overwrite. Be sure to delete the meta cache files and clear your meta and fx folders

Eaglewings
Be sure to delete the meta cache files and clear your meta and fx folders By meta cache file, I take you mean metacahe files for terrain of each map you have in dcs world folder. If it is this file, is it still necessary to delete those files? I haven't been doing that because I picked up the impression that it wasn't necessary to delete them but to delete the fxo and metacahe in save game folder only. I just want to be sure so as make the most of this vr shader mod. Thanks.
