Recommend changing mission start time to full daylight, or replacing the Humvees with Tigrs! Otherwise it isn't exactly a fair fight ;)

+1 for full daylight.

Question about the rules, are Migs and Flankers limited to 4 heatseekers for the last round since Eagles and Mirages can carry only 4 of them? Also i assume that no R-27ET means no R-27T too?

Quote from first page: "Deciding Round: Short Range heat-seeking missiles (no R-27ET) + Guns".

Interpreting this sentence literally would imply that R-27T is allowed. Also, there is absolutely no mention about limiting heatseeker count in the rules section, so these two points need clarification in the rules section!!

I have three people planning to fly with me. Two are currently waiting on forum account permission and their callsigns are JG4_Karaya & [TWB] ec0ke. They'll be signing up once their account is approved. The third person should be posting soon.

confirming my slot in Team Eagle.

Callsign: [TWB]ec0ke

Nationality: Swiss

Current location: Switzerland

Squadron name: The Wet Bandits [TWB]

Squadron website: http://www.thewetbandits.org

:joystick:

Edit: few questions: Round 1 is BVR but is there also heaters and guns allowed?

and is there some rules on which version of the game we fly? (I am on open beta atm)

This part from the rules needs clarification: "First team to destroy all enemy ground units OR all enemy air units wins the round"

What about situation that one team destroys all ground targets, but gets shot down right after that. Which teams is going to win in that case? Is destroying all ground targets first enough for the victory no matter of consequences? Or is RTB/ safe disengage from the fight needed too?

Hi, If for example the RED team destroy all ground targets. they win.

If they get shot down after it doesn't matter. they have already won :)

Amazing fights, Congrats to the winners and kudos to all participating teams.

As shown in the results posted by Decoy above, all top 4 seeds have advanced to the semis and will be on collision course for a chance to win a spot in the big Finale next Saturday.

Semifinal one will pit top ranked squadron, the 104th Phoenix led by Stuge against an excellent RvE team while the second semi final will see the formidable Finnish pilots from SF squadron square off against team TurboRush who were very convincing in their first fight, especially Plaiskool, the man who went on a rampage in the guns only round.

Show is starting today at 1900z. Don't miss out :-)
