I was able to see him fly in Ft. Worth last year! Absolutely spectacular show to see live!

This chopper Map does sound good.

From watching the 1st Vid it would also be good that once we get multiplayer (in the same chopper), if you are looking in a specific direction, a button could be pressed that animates the VR pilot/copilot to point in that direction.

 

would be great if there was a NTTR for combat helos...

The Bundeswehr has just released another classix video about the Bo-105 on their youtube channel (unfortunately in german only again, but the flying is still awesome):

 

 

The Bo-105 always demonstrates pretty well, why helicopters (especially attack helicopters) belong to the army and not the air force. The way they operate is more like a tank than an aircraft and they fly so low that it can't really be called flying :D

 

At around 04:00 in the video you can see a flight of Bo-105s landing at the frontline, so that the aircraft commanders can get out and get in personal contact with the commander of the ground forces. They then brief together in the field, before they jump back in the chopper to attack the enemy.
