GBS
I have had A10 for a number of years patched up to date and I am just getting back into it after a layoff. I want to begin using DCS world. If I download DCS World will it detect the A10 software I already own and allow me to play it through the DCS interface? I'm a little nervous about getting in over my head with this. 159th_Falcon
And you will likely at some point want to uninstall your 1.1.1.1 version. They are unrelated and totally separate. Actually, you want to do that right away. At least, if your using an Saitek X52 or X52PRO HOTAS Why? Well someone that joined our squad recently kept having problems that the engines wouldn't start in Multiplayer. (whit automatic or manual start up, Single Player both ways worked fine.) Long story short, turned out the DCS World Multiplayer was using the Joystick profile of the DCS A10C standalone version............ Causing the game to see throttle not at idle (was bound to the slider) And preventing them to be moved to the idle detent to start the engines. Took a couple hrs before we figured this one out, so i thought i would let you know in advance. ~S~ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
SkateZilla
^Controller Profiles for DCSW and A-10C standalone are in Different folders, the only way that would happen is if He modded the folders, or copy/pasted his A-10C Input folder to the DCSW Folder. I have both and they Co-Exist Fine.
