Fuel dump?

Recommended Posts

I see that R controls the fuel dump, which would be very useful when a target is close to home plate and flying in with 95% fuel would be detrimental to handling. (defueling takes forever on the ground)

However, I can't understand exactly how it works. While on the ground, it's disabled for obvious reasons. While in the air, your engines are burning fuel so it's pretty hard to tell if it's on or off.

Is it a toggle? Are there any specific conditions that have to be met? Does it work at all?

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

A-10's don't dump fuel because they can't do it

In real life? Or the sim?

I see there's a "Fuel Dump" in the A-10A's control setup, is that there by mistake?

The not working shortcut for fuel dump is disturbing. Please remove it ED before the Modern Air Combat release.

"R" instead of dumping could be used to gun rate hi/lo
