shift611
Could anyone tell me where in the option menu there is an option to stop the pitch ladder in the HUD from wandering out of the HUD view, something to do with natural head movement but I can't find it. Thank you for any help.
NoJoy
It's the wind influence indication. AFAIK in the A-10 there's no way to cage the HUD. Brrrrrrrrrrrt I'd rather call in a Strike Eagle... ED Team USSR_Rik Posted July 17, 2019 ED Team Share Posted July 17, 2019 See real photos from HUD (photographed on working KAI-34 HUD several years ago). Men may keep a sort of level of good, but no man has ever been able to keep on one level of evil. That road goes down and down. Можно держаться на одном уровне добра, но никому и никогда не удавалось удержаться на одном уровне зла. Эта дорога ведёт вниз и вниз. G.K. QuiGon
Could anyone tell me where in the option menu there is an option to stop the pitch ladder in the HUD from wandering out of the HUD view, something to do with natural head movement but I can't find it. Thank you for any help. It's normal behaviour. If you move your head, the HUD symbology wanders off (see Rik's pictures). If it wanders off without you moving your head, then it is because of wind drift, because the pitch ladders and the flight path marker shows your movement and if there is a strong crosswind you're drifting to the side which is depicted by the pitch ladder wandering off.
