C101 Trim Indicator Bug

Recommended Posts

The trim indicator in the top left of the front dash (will attach screenshot once able) does not appear to function, and remains static and neutral even when trimmed fully in any direction. I have followed the startup lesson twice, and the manual checklist as well, so I believe it is most likely a bug and not user error. Please correct me if wrong.

RESOLVED: EFM update fixed issue.

Yes, unfortunately the trim indicator does not work. This should be fixed when the advanced flight model version gets finally released. Here is a pre-release video of the AFM version where you can see the trim indicator functioning:

I think the pitch trim indicator is working incorrectly at the time of 2.5.5.41256.

When the nose goes up with positive trim the indicator goes down indicating negative trim, and the same applies in the opposite direction.

Also there is a difference of around a half a unit of pitch trim indicated between the front and rear cockpits.

I am really enjoying the C101.

Hi.

It's actually the opposite. When the nose goes up, it is negatively trimmed or tail heavy. When it goes down, it is positively trimmed or nose heavy. I don't see a discrepancy between the front and rear indicators.

Hi there.

Thanks for explaining that. I'll readjust my thinking.
