With DCS 1.5.5 few textures problems...

With these liveries I meet few problems with textures, few white cases are visible since this new upgrade 1.5.5 "Stable DCS":

That is not a bug of the MI-8 module, it is a problem with the liveries you downloaded, they must be fixed. There is another thread about it in the dcs 1.5 beta forum:

I have no problem with the stock liveries in the latest 1.5.5 beta.

All of my default liveries except RF Army Standard (Weathered) were ok. The weathered one had white boxes everywhere a bort number could possibly be applied on the airframe.

Do we talk about the one in pic1? I can't see any white boxes on my side.

No. There should be an "RF Army Standard (Weathered)" a little higher on the list of liveries.

Yes it's a new feature, you can remove the rear door from the Mission Editor at the last tab.

Ok, I found the problem. I have mod, that influence it (mod, that rewrite script with new option). I repaired it, and now it works, but. I cannoct select weapons and disable cargodoor. If I select some weapons, automatically cargodoor is checked. There is no way to get armed chopper without cargodoor.

I would like to know what line to add in the Description.lua to enable the cargo doors for the static objects, just like the EVUs. Same for "additional armor." When you have a lineup of static choppers of a military that predominantly uses full cargo doors, no EVUs, and additional armor it looks weird without them.

It is always recommended that you uninstall all mods before updating, then run a repair to clean up DCS World. Then do the update, and use it for a while without mods. The final step is to gradually re-introduce mods to see if they have any adverse effect.

If you are having difficulties with your install after using a different approach, uninstall the mods, run a repair and see the results. You may find a completely clean, fresh install is wise once in a while, so this could be the golden opportunity for that step.

If a clean install still fails to solve the problem, re-name your saved games/DCS structure, and re-start DCS World and it'll create a new structure. Once you have the virgin state back, copy across stuff from the old saved games directory until you either re-create the problem, or everything is back where it belongs with everything functioning correctly.

You can of course also uninstall single modules if the issues appear to be isolated that way.

The key is to be methodical, and do things in a way that will minimize bugs in the first place.

The bottom line though is that third party mods may very well cause issues sooner or later, and ED are not to blame for that. The liveries issue is resolvable with a little effort. The forum usually comes up with solutions within a few days.

Yes I did it. I repaired dcs, and I can remove cargo doors. But also with fresh install (repaired version, without any mods) it is impossible to load Mi8 with weapons without cargo doors. If I select weapon it automatically cheks box with cargo door. I repaired liveries issue with upuaut´s solution.
