Operation Back Yard [A-10C] [1-2] [Beta]

Recommended Posts

I created a small mission for 1-2 A-10C.

It is still beta, but I would be grateful for some feedback. Voice overs are not implemented yet, so all info is by text.

Dont't want to give much more info, the briefing should explain everything.

Overview:

It's a night mission where 1-2 A-10C need to clear an enemy compound before a Back Hawk inserts a team. A-10C has to provide CAS and then cover the extraction. Simple. But be prepared for a surprise ;)

No special requirements except from:

- Module A-10C

- Persian Gulf map

If you test the mission, please give me some feedback here, so I can improve the mission and then do the voice overs. Have fun :)

I thought briefing would clear that up. Your task is to clear the compound of any threats to an incoming helicopter. Helicopter needs one hour from mission start. It will land, insert a DEVGRU team, which has a 15 minute long mission. In that time you are to provide cover for them.

I will implement some radio options where you can recall your current mission objective.

I already identified a problem I have to deal with, it's when the helicopter gets too badly damaged when on the ground, but not killed.

Had one situation yesterday where the pilots were dead, but the unit not destroyed. Enemies however stopped firing at him, so the mission was failed, but the "mission failed" trigger did not run.

While I think about that problem, consider the mission failed, if at any time while the heli is on the ground and its rotor stops spinning.
