Madman777
When flying missions before, I didn't wait long enough for SEAD and CAP to do their jobs, so when I went in to attack, I would usually have to deal with SAM's and AAA, and 50% of the time I would get hit or killed. So this week I tried patience...just chilling near or around IP for a long time, waited for the coast to clear, and went in to engage. Suddenly the enemy fire was not so bad and was able to easily support the advance of Mace and Pine to their objectives. :-) Lesson #122304 of 44450303. Cali
There is a reason why you have SEAD and CAP flights. You are flying an A-10, not a F-15E, F-16 or F-18. Would you take a knife to a gun fight? At least you finally figured it out. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED

Not really seeing some SAM's on RWR lately either. i7-12700k, 32GB Ram, RTX 3060 12GB, TrackIR 5, Lots of SSD Space, etc etc DCS World - All the cool modules
jeffyd123
I simply got no time to wait on those Air Force guys to perform a SEAD... So I go in.... I issue a warning on the enemy's guard channel first, saying I'll find them if the fire a SAM at me. If they are foolish enough to fire at me, I perform the following procedure: 1. Make a quick note of which one of them dummies fired at me... 2. Deploy countermeasures as dictated by the RWR 3. Open the canopy to improve my SA of the area and keep my eye on that Lil bugger 4. Perform some maneuvers to make that dumb missile think he's got me 5. When the SAM is about 100 yards away, I take out my .45 an shoot that sucker right in his IR tracker Works .05% of the time... 2 i7 8700K @ 4.4Ghz, 16G 3200 RAM, Nvidia 1080Ti, T16000 HOTAS, TIR5, 75" DLP Monitor

BigBANGtheory
Hell with the canopy open you could drop your speed to 120kts and take a pee on them, then as they rofl unable to operate their weapons come around for the kill shot. <note do not try this in your simpit, due to potential electrical hazzards>

Inseckt
Chuck Norris? chuck norris has no gun, just ammo which he spits. The bullets then move faster than a bullet. If he wanted to fire a maverick, he wouldn't press release, he'd just tell it what to do. As for the SAM-crew, he would land, and then use the plane itself as his weapon and round-house kick them in the face.
