Thanks for the hint. I was trying to find the folder and i couldn't

For me (Windows 10) it's found in %LocalAppData%\Skate_Zilla_Graphics_Stud. Go further down into the directory structure and either delete the user.config, which removes all your settings. Alternatively, quit DCS Update from the minimized icon list. Then edit the user.config. It contains a string

<setting name="MainFormLocation" serializeAs="String">

<value>-32000, -32000</value>

</setting>

Set those -32000 values to 0

<setting name="MainFormLocation" serializeAs="String">

<value>0, 0</value>

</setting>

Restart DCS Updater - it should be visible again!

Steps to fix the window not appearing bug:

1: Click DCS Updater Application window so that it appears on the taskbar

2: Select the DCS Updater Application on the menu bar (Single click)

3: Press Left Alt+Space

4: Select Maximize

Deleting the application and config files did not work for me but the above approach did

Since the last update the presets are not working. I tried everything, I deleted all folders associated with the program, nothing. It just starts with the "Deafult" preset no matter what I choose.

It looks great, but it now changes to the "default" preset based on if you launch VR or non-VR, and ignores the preset dropdown.

I mostly use the utility for that purpose, so I'm hoping you can fix that :)

Wrench,

Could you explain how you went about doing that? By mutliple configs I mean, for example, one config with 1920x1080 resolution and another with 3840x2160 resolution. Or different preload options.

Great to see things all working again! Thanks Skate.

A couple of small things, firstly, I can't see any difference between 'Normal Window Size' and 'Reduced Window Size', and secondly, 'Check for Update on Startup' is set as default.

Reduced Window Size has been depreciated since the last 2 versions w/ new UI.

Ah OK. It's still in the options.

We've got a little issue, and that is that the utility reverts to the default setting in the 'Select Preset' box after exiting. A preset can be selected, but the app would previously default to the last preset used on relaunch, which was very handy as most of the time, I could just click on Launch and I was good to go. I had to restart DCS a few times as forgot about the default setting being selected.

It will not load the last preset selected when the app is relaunched?

I will double check, I have a small list of fixes coming by the end of the week.

Resize will be removed or hidden, seems when I delete items that save to config file is when users have issues and have to delete the AppData Folder.

Nope, it just loads 'default' on restart.

Ok I'll double check, likely because when restarting builds and folders change, so I had it set to load up with default.

Hello,

after launching, Launcher tab remains in the Task bar (and also in the Sys Tray). Previously if I clicked on it in the Taskbar, it disappeared, and only the Sys Try icon remained active. No biggie, just mentioning.

it was changed to eliminate the app remaining hidden problem.

Hi Skate

Just a few issues with your application which is awesome BTW. First when an update appears my program says its updating but just sits there and does nothing.

Second: is there anyway to get rid of the extremely annoying messages that get posted into the windows Notification bar?

I launch DCS, why would i need a notification to tell me that I have launched it?

Thanks man

Teamspeak Client

I can not get Updater settings to accept location for Teamspeak client. I assume it is file: ts3client_win64.exe. I have tried all folders in main TS install folder. Can someone direct me to the correct file location?? Is there something I am missing?

I just cannot get this to work most of the time. It seems to boot up as I get the message in Windows 10 appear and when I hover over the icon on the bottom of the screen the GUI window appears but there is nothing on the screen! I've had it working before a few days ago when I added my path details. Sometimes when I load it up I can click a couple of times on the icon in the taskbar and I'll get the menu, but not all the time either.

I've uploaded the newest version.

Any ideas? Cheers
