Ala12Rv-Tundra
Hi people, I have been trying for a while two ways to start the game with no VR, for mission edition, binding the whole Hornet setup, taking screenshoots, by I can´t figure it out. I use Steam. Adding a direct llink with the parameters --force_disable_VR didn´t work Downloading and using Skatezilla updater to force it neither. Any other options besides unplugging the USB ffrom the headset? i5 8400 | 32 Gb RAM | RTX 2080Ti | Virpil Mongoose T-50 base w/ Warthog & Hornet sticks | Warthog throttle | Cougar throttle USB | DIY Collective | Virpil desk mount | VKB T-Rudder Mk IV | Oculus Rift S | Buddy-Fox A-10 UFC | 3x TM MFDs | 2x bass shakers pedal plate| SIMple SIMpit chair | WinWing TakeOff panel | PointCTRL v2 | Andre JetSeat | Winwing Hornet UFC | Winwing Viper ICP FC3 - Warthog - F-5E - Harrier - NTTR - Hornet - Tomcat - Huey - Viper - C-101 - PG - Hip - SuperCarrier - Syria - Warthog II - Hind - South Atlantic - Sinai - Strike Eagle
aceviper
Switch the Oculus services to manual. Dcs starts in normal 2d then. Use Oculus debug tool to start services and run Dcs in VR.
Ala12Rv-Tundra
Switch the Oculus services to manual. Dcs starts in normal 2d then. Use Oculus debug tool to start services and run Dcs in VR. Unchecking the "options-VR-Enable virtual reality headset" finally did the trick  i5 8400 | 32 Gb RAM | RTX 2080Ti | Virpil Mongoose T-50 base w/ Warthog & Hornet sticks | Warthog throttle | Cougar throttle USB | DIY Collective | Virpil desk mount | VKB T-Rudder Mk IV | Oculus Rift S | Buddy-Fox A-10 UFC | 3x TM MFDs | 2x bass shakers pedal plate| SIMple SIMpit chair | WinWing TakeOff panel | PointCTRL v2 | Andre JetSeat | Winwing Hornet UFC | Winwing Viper ICP FC3 - Warthog - F-5E - Harrier - NTTR - Hornet - Tomcat - Huey - Viper - C-101 - PG - Hip - SuperCarrier - Syria - Warthog II - Hind - South Atlantic - Sinai - Strike Eagle
farmertom
Sorry I did not read that you are using stream... Create a .bat file > DCS_VR_OFF.bat paste this into it... "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" --force_disable_VR Create another .bat file > DCS_VR_ON.bat paste this into it....." C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" --force_VR If your DCS is in a different directory make the appropriate changes. Right click on the .bat file and open. I have open VR checked in the DCS settings. Good Luck Edited June 3, 2018 by farmertom
Fri13
Just make a copy of the shortcut you are using to launch the DCS and put this there in similar way as "Target" "C:\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" --force_disable_VR And that shortcut makes DCS to start in 3D (non-VR). i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
