Would it be possible, in future, to have choice for your directory installation? I have 3 DCS (1 DCS "clean", 1 OpenBeta, and 1 "custom") your .exe only give you choice between DCS (clean for me) and OpenBeta. A "Browse" button would be a great add to your great mod

Hi Morpheus, I don’t agree for a browse button: we choose installer to avoid problems, mainly due to incorrect installations(Not the folder itself, since it’s a folder dropped under mods/Aircraft of the saved game, but for the Export.lua edit)

So we added the 2 options( openbeta/Release used by 99% of the users) and disable browse to be sure that files are going in the right place.

Sorry, btw the installer is compiled with NSIS, and it can be browsed with 7-zip: you can use this free tool to extract it where you want.

Cheers

May you be able to go into specifics on how you made an installer for this? I looked around and seemed that the best way is costly software. :)

There are several Free Windows Installer UI Generator Programs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_installation_software

However There's literally ZERO requirement for them, you can RAR a Mod and tell the user where to extract it.

You're wasting your time even worrying about it.

I've used Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS): http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page.

It's free, you must have a basic knowledge of script programming to customize it, though there are lot of guides that can help and examples are included too.

Guessing the sound folder or some technical thing not written up right? :P Good work also. Do the airbrakes and flaps sound like that in real life for the MB-339, or are those generic file sounds?

It's more complicated than we thought, still working on it.
