Actually no... even if you get a license and agreement from the original developer.

see Zeus comment on the Mirage2000.

  • 2 weeks later...
Pat wrote 2 years ago that he was planning to release it as a free module. Now, times have changed. We do plan to make it payware, but this is the decision of ED :)

Honestly, then you guys should make a joint venture and organize and claim yourselves as a third party developer company.

Even if by doing so you have to pre release a beta version of BO or Gazelle to raise funds to pay for the necessary commitments.

You guys are surely making payware quality modules.

That's my humble opinion on your situation.

Kind regards.

They are already going in that direction, for quite a while :D

Copyright and 3rd party negotiations are ongoing according to the Polychop Simulation thread.

If all goes well, we will see another well skilled 3rd party developer team. Yeah! :notworthy:

Yepp! How's the negotiations with ED progressing? Any news?

Can't wait to get my sweaty hands on that one... and the Bo-105 of course. :D

Superb.

This will be a nice module.

HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user  (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz.

Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.

Hmm, so now, that we have a Gazelle to learn the UK Army Air Corps basics, how about an AH-64 Apache? For the attack helicopter conversion courses... :D

Guess I read "Hellfire" from Ed Macy once too often.
