In Chuck's guide it's meant to flash when there is a launch? I only got the solid green light, then it went off when the SA-11 fired. The audio seems all good tho....

This is flying on the backside, so the aircraft will seek this on speed AOA. You should be more concerned with lift and descent rates...

Both I would say, there are many teams in ED / Belsimtek. Coders generally don't do the artwork and I would guess that the very experienced system coders working on the F-18 would not also be coding...
